Nine Baskets is a trading name of Nine Baskets Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. When we say "we", "us" or "our" in these terms, we mean Nine Baskets Ltd. When we say "you" or "your", we mean you, the person using our services.
These terms govern your use of the Nine Baskets website at ninebaskets.com and all related services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make changes that significantly affect you, we will let you know by email or through a notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of our services after the updated terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account before they come into force.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Nine Baskets. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure. Please choose a strong password and do not share it with anyone. You must:
- Provide accurate information when you register
- Keep your login details confidential
- Let us know straight away if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
You are responsible for all activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised.
What We Provide
Nine Baskets is a personal styling service. Depending on your membership tier, our services include:
- Styling sessions — curated selections of clothing and accessories chosen for you by a professional stylist
- Wardrobe cataloguing — photographing and organising your existing wardrobe so you can browse it from anywhere
- Stylist concierge — on-demand access to your stylist for outfit advice, event preparation, and style questions
- Wardrobe analytics — insights into what you wear, wardrobe gaps, and data-driven suggestions
- Monthly recommendations — personalised product and outfit suggestions sent to your inbox
- Emergency styling — rapid turnaround styling for last-minute events
- Community and content — access to our member forum, style newsletter, and exclusive events
- Exclusive access — early access to new designer collections and limited-edition pieces

Memberships and Payments
We offer three membership tiers: Essential, Signature, and Bespoke.
- Essential is currently free for early adopters. Styling sessions are charged individually at the rate shown on our website.
- Signature and Bespoke are paid monthly subscriptions. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price shown when you signed up.
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
We may change our prices from time to time. If the price of your plan changes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price applies. You can cancel before the change takes effect if you do not wish to continue at the new price.
Returns and Refunds
If you buy physical items from us online, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.
To cancel, contact us at hello@ninebaskets.com. Once you tell us you want to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the items.
Unless an item is faulty, items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.
We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned items (or proof of return), using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
This does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Styling Advice
Our stylists provide recommendations based on your stated preferences, lifestyle, and goals. These are suggestions, not guarantees. Personal style is subjective and results will vary from person to person.
We do not accept responsibility for purchasing decisions you make based on styling advice. You are free to accept or decline any recommendation.
Acceptable Use
Please use our services responsibly. You agree not to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation
- Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or our staff
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that do not belong to you
- Use automated tools to scrape, collect, or extract data from our platform without permission
- Upload harmful content such as viruses or malware
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these rules.
Intellectual Property
All content on Nine Baskets — including text, images, logos, styling guides, and software — belongs to Nine Baskets Ltd or our partners and is legally protected.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or build upon our content without our written permission. Using our services does not give you any ownership of our content.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Beyond that, we are not responsible for:
- Indirect or knock-on losses
- Lost profits, data, or business opportunities
- Purchasing decisions you make based on our styling recommendations
- Service interruptions or technical issues beyond our reasonable control
The most we will pay for any claim related to our services is the total you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Service Availability
We aim to keep our services running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee they will always be available or error-free. We provide our services as they are at any given time, without promises beyond what is stated in these terms.
We may occasionally need to suspend or restrict access for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will try to give you reasonable notice where possible.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services. If we discontinue a service that forms part of your paid membership, we will refund you for the unused portion or offer a suitable alternative.
Closing Your Account
You may close your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. If you have an active subscription, cancellation terms in the Memberships section above apply.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or if we are required to do so by law. We will tell you why, unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
When your account is closed, you may request deletion of your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under UK law.
